Dr. James H. Thomas III, DMD, FAGD, graduated from the College of Charleston in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He then attended the Medical University of South Carolina, where he earned his DMD. He received hands-on training during his general practice residency, which took place at Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia. He became a partner of James and Johns Island Dental Associates in 2007.
Dr. Thomas has lived in South Carolina for a long time and has a deep affinity for the Low Country people. He has served at the Medical University of South Carolina, Our Lady of Mercy Outreach Center, and on dental missions around the world.
His deepest focus is on offering superior-quality oral care services to patients throughout the Charleston area. His education and experience give him a deep understanding of oral health issues and complexities, enabling him to provide personalized treatment plans that meet each patient’s unique needs.
