Dr. Thomas’s passion for dentistry is reflected not just in his skills but also in the trust he has built with his patients. Dr. James H. Thomas III completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the College of Charleston in 1998. Afterward, he pursued his DMD at the Medical University of South Carolina. He gained practical experience during his general practice residency at Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia.

Dr. Thomas is actively involved in several dental organizations, which keep him informed about the latest advancements in dentistry. His memberships include:

As a lifelong resident of South Carolina, Dr. Thomas has a strong commitment to his community. He dedicates time to helping those in need by volunteering at MUSC and the Our Lady of Mercy Outreach Center, and by participating in a medical and dental mission trip to Honduras.
